Icon or Browser Cache Memory
Recently we’ve deployed software to our client, after a few days of its deployment we receive complaints that the site icon is not loading in their browser whereas it was working perfectly in our systems. Thus, we’re writing this blog to help out people who are going through the same “icon not loading”. The solution to fix the issue is extremely simple and can be done within a few minutes.
- How to fix the issue in Mozilla Fox
Step 1:
Go the setting from the right-hand top as shown below:
Step 2: Go to setting from the drop-down menu as shown below:
Step 3:
Go to “Privacy and security” from the setting tab:
Step 4:
Scroll down in the “privacy and security” and click on clear data form “cookies and data”, as shown below:
Step 5:
It may take a few seconds before clearing all the unwanted cookies and data from your browser.
How to fix the issue in Google Chrome
The Problem may sometime arise in Google Chrome, which can be fixed easily. Here I’m going to show you how.
Step 1:
Launch your Google chrome and click on the three dots from the top right corner as shown below:
Step 2:
Go to the settings from the drop-down menu as shown below:
Step 3:
Now form the setting main dashboard scroll down to the privacy and security setting. Click on clear browsing data, as shown below:
Step 4:
Select “cookies and other site Data” and “cache images and files” and click data to clear unwanted stored data from the chrome browser.
If required, you may select the browsing history from the selected month, to clear the site history from the browser record.
How to fix issue in Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer
Step 1
The both site works the same, all you need to do is go to your browser setting, form the top right corner of your browser tab.
Step 2:
Select setting for the drop-down menu as shown below:
Step 2:
Go to the privacy and security setting from the setting tab, and click on “Choose what to clear” as shown below:
Step 3:
Select “cookies and other site data” and “cache image and files” for the menu and click on “clear now”, to clear all the unwanted data from the browser.
Now the close the browser and re-open the browser. The problem will be fixed immediately.
